Set on black sand Lafayette Beach, Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort is a 15-minute or so drive from downtown Papeete. All of its 91 rooms and suites boast an ocean view.

Guests can lounge on the volcanic black sand, or nap by the pool. It also comes with a view of the surf.
