Moorea Beach Lodge at Sunset

Imagine staying in a bungalow steps off the beach in Tahiti. Now imagine it on a budget. It’s possible at Moorea Beach Lodge.

Located on the west side of the island, facing a blue lagoon that boasts unforgettable sunsets, Moorea Beach Lodge is a lovely spot to call home when visiting Tahiti. A dozen bungalows surround a covered common area with comfy seats, and a professional kitchen available for guests to use from 11am to 11pm. If you’re lucky, Blackie, the property’s feline mascot will stop by your bungalow to say hello.

Moorea Beach Lodge is one of many Tahitian guesthouses. Typically family-owned and operated, they’re smaller than a traditional hotels and resorts, but much more kind on your wallet.

Dana’s stay was hosted by Tahiti Tourisme and Moorea Beach Lodge, but as always her thoughts and opinions are her own.
