Three reimagined motels blend wine country luxury with roadside nostalgia
Northern California. Each of The Astro’s 34 rooms and suites is decked out in Mid-Century Modern furniture from the early ’60s, when the original motel was built. Can’t live without one of those pieces from your room? Buy it, and the staff will arrange shipping. The hotel, which reopened in January, has also become a cycling hub.
